Our sweet girl Roxy was brought to us by an acquaintance who, due to personal circumstances, could no longer look after her. When sorting out all the paperwork to register as ours, we found out that she's had at least 3 previous owners and been in no less than 2 kennels during her short life. I couldn't believe people had taken such a loving, affectionate dog and just pawned her off so many times. Now she's happy, loved, and knows she has a home for life with my partner and I... a life where she well and truly owns us and not the other way round :P
