Its identity

Gaspar is an adorable little dog born on February 1, 2024. It weighs about 9 kg and is 35 cm at the withers. He is neutered, vaccinated and in good health. His test for leishmaniasis will have to be repeated.

Its history

Gaspar's story is unfortunately unknown. Like many dogs welcomed at the shelter, he arrived after a report, probably made by the police, before being taken care of by the collection service.

No one ever came looking for him, and his past will no doubt remain a mystery. Today, the only thing that matters is the possibility of offering it a much better future.

His character

Gaspar is a dynamic young dog, full of energy and always ready to discover what surrounds him. Behind his curious temperament is an extremely affectionate companion, who greatly appreciates contact with humans.

He likes to be with the people who take care of him and enjoys moments of tenderness. Like many young dogs, he will need physical exertion, activities and consistent training in order to channel his energy and develop fully.

His agreements

Gaspar doesn't get along with cats.

Cohabitation with male dogs is not suitable for him.

On the other hand, he gets along well with females.

His daily life

Gaspar walks well on a leash. He may show a little impatience or anxiety at the beginning of walks, but he quickly regains his calm.

His behaviour in cars and houses is not yet known.

The ideal family

Gaspar is looking for an active family, present and ready to devote time to him. It will suit adopters who love dynamic dogs and who can offer him walks, activities and positive training.

A home where he will be the only dog or accompanied by a balanced female will suit him perfectly. The absence of cats will be essential.

Despite a past of which we know almost nothing, Gaspar has lost none of his affection for humans. He is now waiting for a family that will finally offer him the stability, attention and love he deserves to start a new life.

He will be placed sterilized, vaccinated, identified and dewormed. Tests for Mediterranean diseases are negative but the test for leishmaniasis will be redone in the event of an adoption request and will then have to be redone once a year, as the disease is endemic in Spain and can take several years to be detectable.
