the first thing you should do is to train your pet when he/she is old enough.

try to first leave him/her outside your room for 1 week.

next, leave him/her downstairs for 1 week.

next train him/her ouside your house for 3 days.

then, when he/she is already brave enough,

and you will go ouside the country, you know and you are sure that

your pet can take care of himself/herself while you are not in your house.
